Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Utah lies one of the most beautiful places I'm fortunate to call home. Surrounded by majestic mountains and lush greenery, our small town of 3,000 residents offers the perfect backdrop for training our gun dogs.
Here, amidst the serene beauty of our valley, I've set up our bobwhite recall pens, providing our dogs with ample opportunities for training in natural, idyllic surroundings. The verdant grass and abundant water from the spring season enrich our lakes and streams, creating an ideal environment for our canine companions to thrive.
Living in such a location is a true blessing, allowing us to engage in dog training activities almost year-round, barring the harshest snow and cold conditions. With the support of family, friends, and the stunning hills that surround us, our training endeavors are infused with a sense of community and adventure.
In the backdrop, the mountains stand tall, offering some of the finest Elk hunting experiences in the state and beyond. My brother's involvement with a local guide service has led to numerous successful hunts, with impressive bulls taken, some scoring in the 397 range and even surpassing the 400 mark. And for those inclined towards Mule deer hunting, the rewards are plentiful for those willing to put in the extra effort.
