Supporting the Next Generation: Best Gun Dogs' Involvement in Youth Pheasant Hunts

At Best Gun Dogs, we believe in giving back to our community, and one way we do this is by volunteering at local youth pheasant hunts. These events are designed to introduce young individuals to the joys of bird hunting, fostering a love for the sport from an early age.

Each year, we eagerly participate in these hunts, alongside our dogs, to provide a memorable and educational experience for the youth. Organized by local hunting stores, clubs, and the Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR), these events bring together hundreds of kids, handlers, and dogs for a day filled with excitement and camaraderie.

For many of these youngsters, it's their first time hunting, let alone hunting with dogs. We take pride in exposing them to the world of pointing dogs, teaching them about dog handling and hunter's safety while ensuring they have a blast in the field.

Here's a glimpse of one of our earliest involvements in youth pheasant hunts, captured when I was just 16 years old:

Supporting and inspiring the next generation of hunters is a cause close to our hearts, and we're honored to play a part in their journey. Join us at Best Gun Dogs as we continue to give back and make a positive impact in our community.
